We are a small organization consisting of environmental enthusiasts who are determined to redefine zero waste living into a fun and practical journey rather than an idealistic destination.
‘Zero Waste Thailand’ is a small organization consisting of environmental enthusiasts who are determined to redefine zero waste living into a fun and practical journey rather than an idealistic destination. At our core, we are passionate about waste reduction — especially single-use plastics across Thailand. In order to do so, we strive to raise awareness and engage Thai society through social media content, talks, workshops, events, community campaigns, and trendy eco-friendly product showcases.
We believe in the 4Rs concept; RETHINK, REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE, where ‘RETHINK’ is the key player in our pursuit to tackle serious waste issues that are affecting us and Mother Earth. As new generation urban Thais, we realize that zero waste living should be easier, more practical, and more realistic. Most importantly, we want ‘zero waste lifestyle’ to be sustainable and adaptable to the everyday life of Thai people, which can begin simply by pausing for a moment to RETHINK!
To us, loving Mother Earth is as vital as loving our own selves. Why? Because we and our planet are ONE! Whatever we do to Mother Earth will ultimately return to us and our loved ones through the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the water we drink…so just be a bit more mindful and RETHINK!
Through fun and engaging content, Zero Waste Thailand aims to help young urban Thais realize that zero waste living can be much easier than they think! By educating on the proper ways of waste disposal and defying myths surrounding the zero waste lifestyle; we wish to pave the way towards a more sustainable, lesser carbon footprint Thailand.
